Hello,
I'm 15 years old and I'm passionate about computers. I have been building my PC for 6 months now and I have gathered the "first" parts. I have the processor, RAM, power supply, motherboard, case, and cooler. Tomorrow I will turn it on for the first time (I'm very stressed) and I wanted to know if I could power it on with just these components.
My setup;
Case: Zelman z9u3
Motherboard: Msi gd55
Processor: I5 3570K
Cooler: Cooler Master 212 Evo
Power Supply: Be Quiet! L8 630W
RAM: Corsair Vengeance Black
Thank you in advance
Best regards

Hi,
It seems possible, although it'll be more of an embedded system than a PC at this level, but yes, it should work.
It will stop at the BIOS looking for a bootable device.
By the way, it's a pretty good idea; it will allow you to check that everything is working before moving on. Make sure to double-check your connections, and if you can, connect a monitor to identify any potential issues.
