Hello, I found an old remote control but I no longer have the manual. It's a Sole Control SC 100. I need the manual and the codes for an Oceanic television.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 6.0

Hello,
I have the English manual for the SCE300.
The difference between SCE100, .... SCE400 should be the number of remote-controlled devices. 100 --> 1 .... 400-->4.
So I assume your remote is only for the TV.
The brand Océanic is not listed among the codes. I'll therefore translate the code search method:
1- Turn on the TV
2- Press the S button
3- Press the button for the device you want to control (TV, VCR, .....). Since this button presumably does not exist on your remote, go directly to step 4.
4- Press 0 four times. The green LED will light up for 8 seconds. You must start the next step before it goes off.
5- Press the Power button until your TV turns off, waiting 2 seconds between each press. You may have to do this up to 130 times before your TV turns off.
To be honest, I'm afraid it won't work; because only 130 possible codes seems low to me.
If it does work, I will let you know how to identify the code.
You can access the manuals, with codes, for the SC300 and SC400 from this link http://www.remotecentral.com/...
I don't know what the E index in the reference corresponds to. Maybe it's a European version? In which case there would be more chances it works with Océanic ... and perhaps more than 130 times to press!

Hello Nx on this site.
I have a SOLE CONTROLE SC 100E remote, but I don't have the code for a TOSHIBA TV.
Thank you in advance.

Glad to hear that and nice of you to come say it.
Because crhis781972, for whom it also seems to have worked, hasn't shown up again.

Hello jmp59
thank you very much for the tip about the Sole remote control code, it wasn't easy, but I managed.
That's really kind of you, dada

Hello,
Look at this http://www.remotecentral.com/...
This remote should look like yours. It’s more complicated because it is designed for 3 devices whereas yours is probably only for the TV. So, I assume that on your remote
The top row has just one button (On/Off).
The number pad and the +/- buttons for Channels and Volume are the same
Below there are only 2 buttons Shift (on the left) and Mute (on the right).
If you need any other information, just let me know.

Good evening,
Thank you for your response.
But unfortunately, the design of the SC-300 remote control does not match my remote control. Not at all!!!!
At the top, I have a button above the 1, a light point above the 2, and a button above the 3.
Below the numbers, I have 2 buttons + and -; the first column for the volume and the other for the channels.
Here is a small drawing..... all the rectangles ( [] ) I don't know what they are for...... the last one at the bottom is surrounded by red.

1 2 3
4 5 6
7 8 9

Good evening.
Hi,
I was wrong to assume! But we should still be able to manage.
One thing's for sure, the button with red is the Shift key. (the one in the bottom left?)
The other bottom key (round, and like the Shift key but smaller in diameter due to the numeric keys) must be the "Silence" key (Mute in English)
The key below the 8: AV (VCR, DVD player)
The 2 keys on the top
- one for On/Off, or just Off, as the power is turned on by pressing a numeric key. But that depends on the television, not the remote control.
- the other "Menu" to access channel settings

Thank you very much jmp59 for your answers to my questions.
I also thought that one of the two buttons at the top must correspond to the power button, but which one????
I have one last question: what is the Shift key for?
Have a good evening.

In the manual, there is no mention of the Shift key. Why?
Generally speaking, it allows you to access a second function on other keys: like on a keyboard where it allows you to get uppercase letters; or a ? instead of a ,
Its use does not depend on the remote control itself but on the device it controls, which does not always require it.

Response to Dada's question in post 11
1- Simultaneously press "S" and "TV" (or other device as applicable).
2- Press the ENT button.
3- Count the number of blinks from the LED. There will be 4 series of blinks corresponding to the 4 digits of the code and a 2-second pause between each series.

Can I get the manual with the codes for the Sole SC-100E remote control?
The tips don't work for me.
The tips don't work for me.
These are not tips but partial translations of the SCE300 manual. See post 1.
dada, doumé, mariane succeeded. And undoubtedly others who haven’t come to say it like chris781972
But so-called universal remotes are not as universal as their manufacturers claim. This is mentioned in post 1.
Unfortunately, it is possible that your remote control may not be compatible with your television.

Hello,
I don't have anything regarding your remote control. But all Sole Control remotes seem to work with the same 2 code lists.
Depending on the models with 4-digit codes, which seems to be the case for yours, 4401 4406 4465 4505 4516 4614
Others use 3-digit codes.

Hi
I had the same problem as you with the same remote, and you can solve it very easily. You press "s" and "tv" at the same time facing your TV, then enter 0000 (the green light should stay on), then you press the button to turn off the TV every 2 seconds until it turns off, then it’s good. The only downside is that you won’t know the code, but as long as it works... By the way, thanks to the person who shared the tip on this very site and who will recognize themselves.

To know the code:
1- Press "S" and "TV" (or another device as applicable) simultaneously.
2- Press the ENT key.
3- Count the number of blinks of the LED. There will be 4 series of blinks corresponding to the 4 digits of the code and a 2-second pause between each series.

Fab, your "default code" trick worked well; personally for a "Schneider", I had to press the stop button 3 times for it to work! So I don't have the visual code but I wrote everything down on a piece of paper: your manipulations then the three presses on stop so that my remote keeps it in memory until I change the batteries
Thanks
Thanks
I would like you to tell me how to get the code number. Thank you in advance. dada
The SCE 100 remote control has a TV button, but none for another device
Once the TV has turned off, remember to press S again
