CD Insert Issue on Mac

Hello everyone,
I can no longer insert a CD into my iMac.. Does anyone have a troubleshooting suggestion?

    Hello,

    Go to Applications -> Utilities -> Terminal, then type sudo drutil eject in the window, type your password and confirm (nothing appears on the screen when entering the password, that's normal). Do you hear a particular sound? Does the disk go back in?
