Hello,
two years ago I bought a desktop PC from HP, and since it wasn't working very well anymore, I kept the hard drive, the DVD drive with the case, as well as the RAM.
I upgraded my setup as follows:
Configuration: AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition @3.7Ghz
MSI 760GM-P23 (FX)
Sapphire Radeon HD5770 1GB DDR5
Corsair CX430W
I thought my RAM might be a bit crappy since it was originally a desktop PC from HP.. But when I open CPU-Z and go to Memory, it shows me this:
Type: DDR3
Size: 4096 MB
Channel #: Dual
DC Mode: Unganged
NB Frequency: 2000.0 MHz
I find it strange.. Thank you for helping me find out if this is correct or not..

Hi
What do you find strange? This: NB Frequency : 2000.0 MHz?
NB = NorthBridge, it's the frequency of the motherboard chipset, probably an AMD with a 2000MHz Hyper Transport bus.
For simple information about RAM, use CPU-Z. Your RAM is 1333MHz effective/667MHz real and from what I see on Pc-Wizard, it's poorly configured ^^

"From what I see on Pc-Wizard, it is poorly configured ^^" Is it possible to adjust it correctly?
Thank you.
Come on, go CPU-Z ^^ And don't install the toolbar or the Ask.com search engine if they are offered to you.
