error code 47 usb key Solved

Question

Hello, I have a problem: I can no longer use my USB key: the computer tells me code 47: the device has been prepared for safe removal but has not been removed; however, there is no key plugged in anymore; when I plug an external drive into my ports, it works well but I can no longer insert a USB key; how can I solve this? I had a problem with my USB key that was broken and I sometimes use keys from my students: where does the problem come from and how can I solve it?

Hi, I have exactly the same problem as you, the only solution I have for now is to restart the computer and I can use my USB card only once, then the reader stops working. I'm checking with my colleagues who are more knowledgeable than I am in IT to try to solve this issue (I uninstalled and reinstalled the USB port but it didn't change anything). Keep me posted if you find the solution before I do.

Hi,

my father just had the same problem. Apparently, he had a poorly installed USB driver. Go take a look in the control panel, then click on system, in the hardware tab click on device manager. Check if you have any question or exclamation marks, and if so, reinstall the driver.

He found that with the troubleshooting assistant.

Hello everyone, I have the same problem code 47, my USB keys work.. it's the webcam that doesn't work. Even though it was working.

I reinstalled the driver
but still nothing, maybe webcam problem????????????
