Hello,

first of all, I would like to know how 50 Mbit/s converts to Mo/s (I heard it was /8 so 6.25 Mo/s). I also have a small complementary software on my computer called Networx that shows me my data consumption but also the upstream and downstream speeds. However, when I test my connection with speedtest.net, I get results ranging from 30 to 50 Mbit/s (very variable for now but I will look into it with my provider). For example, at about 32 Mbit/s, my Networx software indicates about 7.5 Mo/s (7.5 * 8 = 60). Is my software giving me an incorrect number or am I the one who is mistaken?

    One byte = 8 bits. Therefore, it is enough to divide by 8: 50:8 = 6.25. So, 50Mbps = 6.25MB/s.
