USB connection issue PC/mobile Solved

Question

Good evening,
I have been struggling for a few weeks now to connect a Samsung mobile "SGH-Z230" to my PC using a USB cable after installing the software "PC Studio 3" that came with the product. While the USB port is recognized, I cannot connect this mobile to transfer the photos stored on it to the PC. One of the solutions would be to install a data kit (USB cable + software "Easy Studio 2.0") for about 30 euros. Is it useful, what do you think?

Hello, I have the same issue; I have the Samsung Z230 and I can't connect it to my PC. However, I have a Bluetooth key and it works with all the other phones in the house.

Hello. Check if the transfer to or from the phone's internal memory is possible. In some cases, the transfer only works by using an added memory card in the phone.

I have the same phone as you and I have the same problem, however a small icon (like the one on the desktop) is indeed displayed on my phone's screen but neither Easy Studio nor Contact Copier worked.

I also have the same problem with my Samsung SHG Z 230 bought on February 23, and I'm really frustrated because a friend came over with his Samsung D 900 and it works perfectly via my PC and Samsung Studio.

I just downloaded Samsung PC Studio recently from the downloads section of z230 on samsungmobile.com and it worked for transferring images and music, just a little tip after connecting your phone to the PC, turn it off and restart it.

Otherwise, I'm still struggling with copying contacts with no results!

hello, I had the same problem too. You need to make sure that your phone is properly set up. Go to settings, phone, USB settings, and select the desired connection software (for example, Samsung PC Studio). Install the software on your PC (without connecting the USB cable). Once installed, do not launch the software, but restart the PC. Launch the software, then connect the USB cable from the phone to the PC.
Another tip: If you're unsure about your software, uninstall it and look for the software corresponding to your phone and operating system at:
