Good evening,
I am using Macromedia Fireworks 8 to create a graphical interface. I would like to reproduce a gradient like this one (I have removed some colors for clarity): #3dacf1 0%, #3eadf4 3%, #37a6ee 10% ... #1baefe 100%. Apparently, with Macromedia Fireworks 8, you can't set the triangles precisely (percentage). In my course, I started learning Illustrator and there, it seems you can position the triangles exactly where you want (percentage). I'm not sure if the term "triangles" is correct, so I attached an image to help you understand me better.
Is there a solution in Macromedia Fireworks 8?
Thank you in advance...

Hi
Fireworks 8 is old
In Illustrator and Photoshop, it obviously seems strange that we couldn't do it in Fireworks
I must admit I haven't found anything specific on Google indeed
Try to bring up the properties window at the bottom and click on a slider
Maybe that's where you can adjust its position
We only use a small part of our brain. If we wanted, we could certainly be a lot dumber.

Good evening baluze,
I looked in the help section and found nothing on the subject. LiveDocs is inaccessible. I know that Macromedia Fireworks 8 is old but that's the one I learned in class. I would have preferred to learn Photoshop which is more commonly used, but I didn't have a choice.
Is there a way to create the gradient in Photoshop or Illustrator and import it into Macromedia Fireworks 8 while keeping the ability to modify the properties?
Thank you in advance...

quickly seen even in fireworks cs5 you can't set a gradient slider in percentage it's not an issue of the software's age
yes you can create a gradient as you wish in photoshop or illustrator
then ctrl A to select all, ctrl c to copy and in fireworks ctrl v to paste
or save as psd or eps and import
however it will be a bitmap object and you won't be able to modify much in terms of properties
