Coaxial splitter for TV?

I conducted a search for analog and digital channels and got no results. My television is a Grundig LCD, and I live in the 8th arrondissement of Paris. I didn't have any reception problems with this television before.
Could it be my coaxial adapter -> antenna socket that is causing the problem?

The ideal way to connect a television to this screw socket is not with an adapter, but with a coaxial cable that has the right connectors at each end: male F-type screw connector on one side, and male IEC smooth plug on the other side. Adapters are not recommended, they are not ideal, but... it should work anyway, in principle. So either your adapter is defective, bad luck, or the problem lies elsewhere.

In Paris, there is no more analog in the cable. So there's no need to perform an analog scan; the digital antenna mode should be sufficient.

It is a GRUNDIG LCD TV 42VLC7121C.
Unfortunately, I do not have a coaxial port on my TV, just an "ANT IN". Yet, in the list of sources, I can choose either "air" or "cable". A digital channel scan in both cases yields no results ...

But yes: The "ANT IN" port is a female IEC coaxial port. Just like on other TVs. Both Air and cable modes should find digital channels, not necessarily the same ones, by the way. So there is indeed a problem.

PS: Re-reading the thread, I think I understand that you're confusing "coaxial" and "screw-on". They are not the same: Both types of connectors are coaxial. Screw-on coaxial on the wall socket side, smooth coaxial to plug into the TV side.

I have the same problem, I moved into an apartment with a VQ330 box, and when connecting it to my LG television via a male F/IEC male cable, the complete channel scan (antenna, cable, satellite) returns nothing.

Do I need to disassemble this box?
