CanalSat registration issue.

Hello everyone!
So here it is, I have a strange little issue regarding my CanalSatellite decoder, I hope you can help me.

With this decoder, a LG DVD player (model rht497h) is also connected to my television.
When I want to schedule a recording of a CanalSat channel, the same "bug" happens almost every time. Indeed, I can start the recording without any problem (there's still space on the hard drive, and no connection issues...) but when I come back and want to watch the recorded movie, it freezes on a still image (this happens either at the beginning or a few minutes after the recording starts) and I then have 1 hour and 30 minutes of recording of the same still image, with no sound.

It's quite annoying and also incomprehensible: "live" recordings (non-scheduled) usually work very well (although we have noticed a few similar bugs, but only once or twice), but this has also happened once during a simple viewing (without recording) of one of the cable channels. In this case (live), simply changing the channel and then returning to the first one unfreezes the image.

A little additional information: I had to change my CanalSat decoder a while ago, as it was very old and incompatible with the new functions, for a new "Cube" decoder. The issues have been happening for about 2 months now, that is since this hardware change. I don’t know if it’s related, but we’ve observed a higher "bug rate" lately.
Another little piece of information: the issues mostly occur during evening recordings; those made during the day generally have no problems.

So, if anyone has an idea that could explain the source of this failure, or how to fix it... And feel free to ask me for any further details.
A big thank you in advance!

Yet, with the old decoder, which was still a few years old, everything was working just fine.
I would have liked to see if someone had experienced the same problem and managed to solve it before calling a repairman.
I really don't understand where this could be coming from.

Thank you anyway!

I don't think you should call a repair service because I believe your decoder is rented from Canal+. Be careful with the change, as you will lose your recordings.
Good luck with customer service.

Changing the decoder won't make me lose my recordings, since I record everything on the hard drive of my DVD player.

Thank you very much.
