Need help fixing your Pentax?

My Pentax Optio S screen displays "A 90" and doesn't do anything else... What to do? Please help me if you can... Thank you

      I have a Pentax OPTIO S6.
      The device is in great condition. However, the image on the screen is blurry (probably a lens issue), you can't even make out the shapes!
      I believe the device is still under warranty but it was a gift, so I don't have the receipt...
      Do you think this problem can be solved without sending it to customer service?
      What steps should I take?

      I have a Pentax OPTIO E85 camera.
      As soon as I turn on the camera, the zoom does not open and the screen says "Error zoom".

    Hello okidaccord,

    I read that you are quite knowledgeable about PENTAX digital cameras.
    I have a little problem with my PENTAX Optio E50 and I would like to know how to fix it.
    The lens of my camera is twisted; when I turn on the camera, the screen is all black and it says "lens error: 0x0211". Since the lens is twisted, it always remains extended whether the camera is on or off.
    How can I repair it?
    It has been about 3 weeks since I got it and I would be annoyed to have to buy another one. I really like my camera!!
    I hope you can help me, thanks in advance!

    PS: Sorry if there are any mistakes but I'm more used to writing in shorthand than like this!!

    Hello, I have a Pentax A30, but as soon as I turn it on, it switches off after a few seconds. I thought it was a battery problem, so I bought another one, but the issue persists. It was a gift, I don’t have the receipt, and it was purchased abroad; does anyone have a solution for me??????

    Hello,

    I have a problem with my PENTAX OPTIO E30 digital camera!!!

    Actually, I don’t know what happened, it hasn’t fallen and hasn’t been subjected to any shock
    and yet it won’t turn on anymore... WHY???

    I was looking at my photos on my 8GB Sandisk SD card and everything was fine, I turned it off as
    usual and maybe 20 minutes later I took it back to take some photos and then... well, nothing
    IMPOSIBLE to turn it back on, I insisted several times and nothing, I removed the batteries and waited
    a good hour and still nothing when I tried to turn it back on, I tried another 1GB Sandisk SD card
    to see if that was the issue and still nothing, it won’t turn on!!

    So if someone could help me find a solution to the problem that would be super cool!!
    Maybe a reset is possible because I think it is stuck or something like that

    Moreover, the batteries are new, I even took batteries from another digital camera to
    be sure and still nothing, it won’t turn on!!

      My Pentax Optio S6 screen is broken (the screen has traces of several colors) and I’m reluctant to throw it away as I’ve never had any issues before and it works quite well...
      Do you have a solution to propose? Repair, buy it for parts...

      I have the same problem with my Pentax; it fell down and now it turns on and displays lens error 0x0211. It's a Pentax Optio E70L. I apologize for bothering you, but I don't know if you were able to help the person on the forum and if you could do the same for me!!

    I have a PENTAX Optio E60
    I've only had it for 1 month and now it shows
    Lens error: 0x01110000
    when I turn it on, the zoom activates and then it shows Lens error: 0x01110000
    and the lens stays open!

    Hello,

    I have a Pentax Optio S45, which fell on the lens; the result is that the camera turns on but doesn’t focus: the lens doesn’t move anymore and then it turns off. Only the micro mode and the connection to the computer work. I'm either looking to sell this camera for parts (the LCD screen is perfect) or to buy a camera with a broken screen!

      I am interested in buying the lens (zoom lens)
      because I have the same camera as yours, a Pentax Optio S45, and my photos are blurry because the zoom is damaged.
      So, do you sell the camera in parts or as a whole?

      I dropped my Pentax Optio E 50 and the small door where the batteries go doesn't close anymore. A small latch is gone.........
