Wifi: Required network configuration verification...

Hello,

I'm posting this message from my other computer because I can't connect since I installed Windows 8 on my laptop.

The network was working perfectly well on this same computer (and I'm currently connected to my desktop) under Windows 7. However, since I installed Windows 8, it can connect to a nearby SFR hotspot but not to my network.

It's a semi-public connection, meaning it's available for my residence (~150 people, so probably a special configuration, I'm not sure...) and encrypted by WPA, but I don't have access to its administration.

When I try to connect (once I enter my key), it says "Network configuration verification required...", and after a few seconds, Windows tells me it is impossible to connect to the network.

Do you know what this could be? And how to resolve it?

Thank you in advance,
Vincent.

Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 16.0

Problem solved, I just had to reinstall the driver. If anyone needs details, I'll leave the topic open for a while.

I have the exact same problem as you. Could you explain what "reinstalling the drivers" means?
Thank you

I re-downloaded the driver for my network card and completely uninstalled it from the device manager before reinstalling it. Be careful to download it before uninstalling, as you won't have internet access until the driver is reinstalled.

Could you please provide more details on the steps to follow to resolve the issue? I have the exact same problem and I wouldn't know how to download the drivers, let alone how to install them. Thank you!

I have the same issue since this morning. How can I know which driver to download since I don't have Internet access on the computer in question?
