Hello,
can you use non-rechargeable batteries in a cordless phone (Philips)?

thank you in advance.

    Hello

A priori, replacing a battery (or rechargeable batteries) with "regular" batteries... is more than strongly discouraged... because as soon as you put this phone back on its base... the charging attempt will be effective... and there... "hello damage" ....

As a side note, I saw a "technician" do this for an alarm power supply... the whole thing (well, not the said technician...) "burned out"... with a nice shower of sparks...

This kind of system would only be possible if the automatic charging functions were disabled...

Thank you for the explanations that we would have liked to be more detailed. Since non-rechargeable batteries are the same as rechargeable ones, why does such a cordless phone not accept them when they have the same power and nothing is marked on the device?

Simply because, as mentioned earlier, batteries on a charger may explode and/or catch fire.

It is clearly stated on all commercially available batteries
Warning: May explode or break if recharged
Warning: Risk of explosion or leakage if recharged.
