PS3 System Restore Issue

Hello,

I turn on my PS3 one morning and all of a sudden it says I need to restore the system. Okay no problem, I get to 100% and I turn it back on and I end up exactly at the same thing. Can someone tell me what to do, thanks =)

Me too, it does the same thing and it puts lead on it and it puts the same thing back.

I've had exactly the same issue and it keeps happening in a loop. I've tried about ten times and it starts all over again. But HOW DO I FIX THIS? :-[

I had the same problem some time ago, here is a tutorial to fix this issue:

I advise you to restore the default settings (factory settings), and also to turn off the PS3 properly (with the controller) to avoid this kind of problem in the future!

I can’t do anything either, not even press O or cancel the loading.
And for me, the loading lasts 9 hours until it reaches 50 percent.

Hey everyone.. I'm in deep trouble! Let me explain my problem: I turn on my PlayStation and a message pops up saying they're going to restore the data from the PS3, so okay, but it freezes at 25% and 30 minutes later it's at 26% and so on, so it's going to take a lot of time.. Does anyone have any idea on how to avoid this?? Please.

How long does it take because I launched the recovery mode restoration and after 4 hours of waiting it says it's still in preparation
if someone could help me it would be great

Once the restoration is finished, I have a black screen for 10-15 minutes and then I have a new restoration that lasts 3-4 hours. If someone could help me, that would be cool, thanks :)

Me too, it lasts about 4 to 5 hours, but if it lasts longer, you should leave it for a day normally. Best regards.

I have exactly the same problem as you, change the hard drive but you'll lose all the backups.

choose option 5....you'll know right away because it will reformat your disk in 2 minutes and then restart like it's the first day...The only problem is that you'll lose your contacts...

I had the same problem. Even after formatting the hard drive, it was still sluggish and I had to buy another hard drive.

Same problem, by any chance you haven’t played Dragon Age Inquisition? I know several people who have had this issue because of that game, which is unstable! That's my case as well, the game keeps crashing.

No, because online saves are normally stored on your PlayStation Network profile, so they should be on their servers.

SIMPLY LAUNCH THE SAFE MODE AND DO STEP 5 BECAUSE THE OTHER STEPS STAY ON PREPARATION IN PROGRESS INDEFINITELY
