BJR, my Nintendo 3DS won't turn on, the screen stays black! The blue light turns on, it's weird. I would like to know how to turn it on please, thanks in advance.

Attention: There are two types of black screens
The blue LED lights up and both screens have their backlighting activated but nothing displays, and another where the blue LED lights up and there's no backlighting; the console is frozen!!
In the first case, repeated power down and power up may resolve the issue.
It could also be related to the Wi-Fi card..
In the second, it's a blockage due to one of the screens being burned out.
To diagnose, you will need to disconnect each ribbon cable while testing each time
As long as the LED is blue, turn off, unplug one ribbon cable and press again
You will have found the fault when, after turning on the console, the LED lights up blue for 5 seconds then the console turns off..
At that moment, note the cable you unplugged; it is either the top screen or the bottom one.. then go online to find out how to disassemble..
You can find screens on eBay for very cheap
