Adwcleaner pour Mac Solved

Hello, I just wanted to know if Adwcleaner existed for Mac, or if there is an equivalent software for Mac. Thank you in advance!

I had the same problem, an old crappy search engine (Trovi), wouldn't get lost...
I found this software on the "macbidouille" forum, a pretty safe source. And it's great, it was gone right away, along with other junk!

To explain in a little more detail:
I have a PC and a Mac.
On the PC, I installed various software and one of them installed Babylon Search. From there, using Google Chrome, a tab would open each time with Babylon Search. I found the solution by using Adwcleaner which successfully removed Babylon Search. The problem was therefore solved.
On my Mac, I also use Google Chrome with my synchronized data, but there too, there was Babylon Search. I found in the settings how to remove it, but I'm a bit worried that it might have "infected" the Mac; in fact, I've noticed that Google Chrome starts slightly slower since then (but maybe it's just me overthinking it).

So, does anyone know of an equivalent software for Mac please?
I have an "old" PowerPC G5 1.8 GHz with AS 10.4.11 and it is slower than Windows 3.11 (for those who remember).
So I'm looking for anything that could help restore its "youth"!

Hello, I have the same problem. I deleted the search conduit but it doesn't help!!
As soon as I'm on Google Chrome or even Safari, I have tons of ads, some words are highlighted in green, green windows open with "Download" etc., really unbearable. Has anyone else encountered this problem and found a solution? I’ve looked in the apps, in the extensions, uninstalled Google Chrome and re-downloaded it, but nothing works. Thank you in advance for your responses.
