Hello,

I am using Scribus and I have been looking for an hour on how to remove the border around a logo. I have changed all possible properties, but nothing works, there is still a thin black line. I may have missed something. Do you have a solution?

Thank you for your help

Paul

Configuration: Mac OS X / Firefox 12.0

Thank you, I solved the problem by setting the opacity to 0 in the colors.

Thank you for your help and best wishes for the future.

It's a solution that works, otherwise by making the color of the net the same as the background color.

PS: for those looking for where the properties of the net color are (like me), it's the icon with the brush in the "colors" tab of the "properties".

Thank you. Of all the solutions proposed below, this is the only one that works: set the opacity to zero.
Select the image, windows / properties / colors / paintbrush icon / opacity 0
Phew! I tell you, Scribus is free, but it's not a piece of cake!

Re,

The software automatically corrects the "0" to "Ultra-fine stroke".
As I said... I'm far from being a heavy user of Scribus...

To test:
-> create a new stroke style (Edit > Stroke styles)
---> Next window: new
---> Next window: the stroke at 0 in this new style:

Confirm twice with OK...

Apply this style to your image:

Sorry for not having anything better to offer... but after "digging" through the options, I found nothing...

Oh, you know, honestly, I chose the blog platform on a whim...
Now... as soon as you want to step out of the "standard" and the aids (which are more constraints), you have to dive back into the HTML...

great job on your blog
Thanks... but nothing revolutionary...
:-))

See you later!

Good evening everyone,
I have the solution that allows you to remove the border "for real",
so get out of all those little windows with overly precise settings,
you just need to right-click on the frame where the border you want to remove is, then click on "convert to.", and then click on "outlines," and the border should disappear,
there you go, I hope I have helped you, bye!
Imane.

Good evening,

I am far from being a heavy user of Scribus, but here are 2 suggestions...

-> In the properties window, under the Stroke tab, set the thickness to 0 pt:
https://pix.toile-libre.org/upload/original/1335553878.jpg

-> Still in the properties window, in the Colors tab (select the stroke), set it to none:

To bring up the properties window => F2 (or Windows > Properties).

;-)

Hello,

I confirm the tracks of the Gnou.

These are the only two I know as well.

Good night.

The software automatically corrects the "0" to "Ultra-fine mesh". Why? It is impossible to enter 0

If you have any answers?

And with the color system, if you put none, what does it give?
