Drivers for Canon Selphy CP 400

Hello,
I can no longer use my Canon Selphy CP 400 since I changed computers.
The device icon appears in the control panel with the status "Not specified" and the driver for the CP 400 is not installed.
How can I proceed without the installation CD?
Thank you in advance for the help you will provide.

    Good evening Raoul

I had the same problem with this link, everything is back to normal:

    http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/support/consumer/printers_multifunction/selphy_compact_photo_series/selphy_cp400#DriversAndSoftware

    Install in: Run as administrator
on Win 7 with the Vista driver (64)
And your Selphy will be up and running again ;)

I confirm that it works perfectly under W7 64 PRO. One wonders why Canon doesn't mention it...

Canon does not report it because it only indicates the programmed compatibility. It is Microsoft (in its great wisdom) that allows these programs to run in "previous version" mode, but this is not necessarily 100% reliable, that's why.

For your information, I installed the driver for CP400 (cp400x32mux.exe) designed for Windows Vista 32 bits. It works perfectly on Win 8.1.

I do not use the Canon software for printing. That's it.
