Client obsolète [Erreur] sur Minecraft !

Hello,

I created a Minecraft Server, I followed the protocol... I have opened the ports on my Freebox. I gave my IP address to one of my friends and he is getting an error message on his screen "Outdated Client" and in my console (for the server). What should I do? Thank you in advance.

    His version of Minecraft is outdated compared to the version of your server.
    What version is he on and where did you download Bukkit for your server?
