Hello
Good evening,

I created a site with phpmyadmin, everything works, I access the site via localhost. The site works very well, but the problem is that I want to have an address so that other people can access my site. But I can’t manage it, does anyone have a solution?

Thank you Léonard1510
Configuration: Windows 7 Ultimate Edition
3.00 GB RAM

Good evening Leonard, just for clarification, phpMyAdmin does not create a website; it is a configuration tool for the Apache software. And regarding your question, if you have created a website, you need to host it and choose a domain name.

And your domain name, you can give it to people so they can go to your site. There you go.

Assuming your site is hosted on domaine1.net, the associated database must be obviously accessible (not necessarily with the same host).
If you want to host the database at your place, it will be necessary
*for your SQL server to be available as long as your site needs to access it.
*for your local network to be easily reachable (no-ip solution, dyndns, etc.)
*for your router to forward the SQL port to the local server.
*for your SQL server to support the expected load (if you have one user every 36 months, that won’t be a problem ;)

As for what I think about Win$, it's not an operating system but a toy for kids under 10 years old)

Could you suggest a better operating system? Thanks already for your responses, it has helped me a lot. Thank you
