Steam issues Solved

Question

Hello, Since this morning I've tried several times to launch my Steam games but none of them start. I can see the "Preparing to launch" window, but then nothing happens and it stays stuck there.
If you have any solutions without me having to uninstall Steam with its games (I don't want to lose the data).

Configuration: Intel Core i5 200
Asus P8 H61/USB3

It's often either Steam that's saturated, or your connection that's experiencing micro disconnections (I had this issue with Free).

hi
look in your game library, then right-click on one of your games that won't launch anymore
go to "properties" then "local files"
then click on "verify integrity of game files"
repeat this action for the games that won't launch
after verifying the cache of your games, log out of Steam and then log back in, it should work!
you might want to expect updates for your games!

Hi, I have this problem too since this morning, everything was working yesterday, but now I have a question mark next to the cloud for each game in my game library. Is it just a simple Steam update?

Me too, from time to time the game launch preparation window gets a bit stuck but you shouldn't click on it, just wait for it to launch by itself (it's Steam that's bugging) it happens!

Yes, I thoroughly checked the entire cache but it didn't change anything, I don't have a question mark, earlier I waited over 30 minutes and it didn't start so there is a problem.

Normally, it's a Steam Cloud synchronization problem.. So it's a connectivity issue, but how can it be resolved? :(

I'm going to disable Steam Cloud and see if I can play, because it's pretty annoying.

but you can't play online since you're in offline mode?
yeah steam is bugging a lot right now, I'm having connection issues when I play MW3, right in the middle of a match it bugs and I look at my steam friends and see "disconnected, you must be online to see your friends" lol I haven't disconnected all evening XD well, stuff like that happens, I think everything should go back to normal tonight, in my opinion a patch is being prepared!! more and more patches

They need to start improving because they have been worsening significantly for the past few years!

This isn’t the first time this kind of thing has happened; they don’t know how to manage it. They are really just some poor, incompetent IT workers at Steam.
