Good evening,
First of all, stop going on streaming sites or you'll have the same problems as me...
So let me explain what has been in the news since the weekend of December 10th! A virus takes advantage of a flaw in web browsers and locks your computer by displaying a message pretending to be the French police, claiming that you owe a fine of 200 euros to be paid within 24 hours to unlock your PC because you were supposedly caught downloading OR browsing pornographic sites, while you were actually streaming! All of this is false and they go very far because the message is written in very poor French and they even display our IP address and operating system, etc.
So for those who have this virus, it is possible to unlock your PC with a small trick that unfortunately I do not know but which is available at real police stations (don't worry, they won't make you pay a fine; streaming is not yet penalized by law in France! (that won't be long, by the way)) anyway, for those who know their way around computers, you'll find it; for the others, head to the nearest police station...
Moreover, if anyone has had this problem and resolved it, could you please share the trick with me? Because I could figure it out myself, but it's late and I really don't have the motivation to think about it right now...
