    1GB = 1GB = 1000MB = 1000 * 1000KB = 1 000 000 000 bytes
    1GiB = 1024MiB = 1024*1024KiB = 1024*1024*1024 = 1 073 741 824 bytes

    1GB = 0.93GiB
    1GiB = 1.073GB

    GiB meaning gibibyte
    GB meaning gigabyte

    Indeed 1GiB = 2^30 bytes
    Whereas 1GB = 10^9 bytes

      This confusion is caused by Windows and Apple, which count memory in GiB and display it in GB.
