Google Earth ne se lance pas... du tout !

Bonjour,
J'ai installé Google Earth sur mon ubuntu 7.04 (sur P4 2.5GHz, vidéo intégrée). L'installation s'est bien déroulée.
Cependant, lorsque je lance GoogleEarth, absolument rien ne se passe, pas l'ombre d'un écran d'accueil, le néant... Dans la console cela donne ceci :
cafet@borne-cafet:/opt/google-earth$ ./googleearth
exec: 19: ./googleearth-bin: not found
--> ./googleearth-bin not found
cafet@borne-cafet:/opt/google-earth$ ls -l googleearth*
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 530 2011-07-12 12:44 googleearth
-rwxrwxrwx 1 root root 5452 2011-07-12 12:44 googleearth-bin
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 4754 2011-07-12 12:44 googleearth-icon.png
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 638 2011-07-12 12:44 googleearth-mimetypes.xml
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 17748 2011-07-12 12:44 googleearth.xpm
--> alors que le fichier existe avec tous les droits...
Je ne comprend pas le soucis... cela peut-il venir de ma configuration matérielle ?

J'ai mis /opt/google-earth dans le PATH, malheureusement rien n'a changé.
Un truc bizarre, c'est que si je lance ./googleearth-bin, linux me retourne bash: ./googleearth-bin: Aucun fichier ou répertoire de ce type
Or, googleearth-bin existe bel et bien, avec les droits max, voici le résultat du ls -l sur le répertoire Google Earth : -rwxrwxrwx 1 root root 5452 2011-07-12 12:44 googleearth-bin
ça doit cacher un pb, mais je sèche ...
