Hello, I'm a brand new fan of the manga series "Vampire Knight" and I just finished season 2 in VOSTFR.

But I've searched through all the forums, discussions, and other streaming sites and I can't find out when it will be released!

Please, can someone help me?

  I also searched a lot but I couldn't find any results and I don't know when it will be released so if you're really in a hurry I recommend buying the manga.

Honestly, I've never read any official information about season 3. Only rumors, guesses, or false ideas.

Otherwise, Matsuri Hino recently stated in LaLa magazine that the Vampire Knight manga series continues. The first volume of this "new arc" will be released in June in France according to what I've seen. Here’s the plot: "A new legend is about to begin. A bloody legend. Yûki and Zero have just confessed their feelings for each other, however..."

Before she mentioned it, there were a few bonus chapters after the release of volume 19, featuring "memories" and other short side stories, which are interesting to read and especially very intriguing and sometimes unclear! You can search for the scans if you're interested.

Otherwise, we can always hope for a season 3, although I would be very surprised. Only time will tell. In the meantime, you will need to read the books to follow the story (the end of season 2 corresponds to volume 10, it seems), because if you rely only on the anime, you won’t get very far; these rumors have been going on for at least 8 years, are you going to wait another 8 years? I know some people don't like to read, but it would be a shame.

I hope I could clarify things for some people; if you need any information, let me know.

    And? If there is no official information, I’m not going to come up with false ones just because you desperately want a season 3. There’s nothing concrete regarding it, whether you like it or not, unfortunately. In my opinion, we should stop getting our hopes up for this season 3, as there is little chance it will happen.

    Maybe, but if you're a real fan of Vampire Knight and you love this manga, then you absolutely want to see a season 3 come out. Even if this season 3 may never exist, you shouldn't be discouraged. Despite that, you can still watch the manga; season 3 is there!

Hi, the manga author has died it seems, so there won’t be a continuation haha I’ve been waiting for it for years unfortunately, however it exists in manga in English or Japanese, they are probably available in scans.

Yes, normally I was told that season 3 would be coming out soon, but I don't know when. It's been about a year and a half since I watched this anime, and honestly, I've been waiting for season 3 since I finished season 2, lmao.

  To respond to you, it's been at least four years that I've been waiting, so I no longer have any false hopes haha! There were already rumors a long time ago (2008 - 2009, if I remember correctly) that a season 3 was going to come out, but personally, I don't get my hopes up anymore. If it ever comes out, that would be perfect, but unfortunately, I highly doubt it! :/
