Installing linux with windows vista

Hello,

I have Windows Vista on my PC, and I want to install Linux to use both. Is it possible? If so, please let me know how to do it.

    There is a simple way to test Linux without modifying your drive, it's Wubi:
    https://ubuntu.com/download/desktop

    Otherwise, most advanced Linux distributions offer to repartition your drive before installing Linux, but of course, it's better to make a backup beforehand.
