[Open Office] Problem with images

Hello,

I am explaining my problem: when I insert images into Open Office and then save and close my saved page, when I reopen this page, my images have disappeared; at least they seem to have been turned into red letters and numbers displayed vertically. As a result, I have to start all over again, and I have been dealing with this problem for several months.
I don’t know how to fix it.
Could someone please help me?

When I create slideshows or receive them on screen, when I want to view the slides, the screen remains blank and when I click to finish, the images have actually advanced. I can hear the music very well, but there are no images. Is there a solution for Open Office Impress?
