Hello,  I'm looking for a small application or an Excel file to calculate my heating needs based on my insulation and the volume of my house.  Thank you.

Hello,
the heating needs of the building depend not only on the volume and insulation but also on a large number of other parameters, such as the surface areas of the walls and the region, among many others.
What you are looking for exists but is very imprecise; more serious authors always warn that the tool cannot replace a thermal study or be used to size an installation, but in general, no one mentions the margin of error, probably because it is too significant or unknown.
Professionals use this type of tool to estimate a budget for preliminary projects within ±30 or 40%. If you are interested in knowing, look at ideesmaison or acova for example.
However, there are more serious thermal study services, but they are not completely free or are addressed manually with a delay.

there is a completely free tool: it's an Excel spreadsheet used to perform the energy performance diagnosis for a house (the same one also exists for apartments)
It's a tool intended for professionals, but you can certainly use it as a private individual, as there is explanatory documentation

I work in a technical office and it's true that WIN_HT 32 is a good program.
You can even define the types of radiators, floor heating spacing, ...
Otherwise, do your calorimetry, do it by hand, it's not difficult...
However, you would need a standard (in Switzerland we use SIA 384/2 or the new SIA 384/201).

You have the software Comme Un Thermicien which allows you to perform calculations of heat loss (heating needs according to the passive house label), bioclimatic needs for RT 2012, and primary energy coefficient for the BBC label.

The free version seems fully functional but apparently does not allow you to open a saved project.

Here's a nice little script that's completely free! It allows you to calculate the thermal balance and CO2 emissions of your home. The great thing is that it makes comparisons regarding the savings that can be achieved depending on the type of heating, hot water, etc. Check out the link below:
