Screen brightness adjustment Solved/Closed

Question

Good evening,I don't know if it's my screen that's deteriorated or if video and Internet standards have evolved, but for a long time now I've noticed that I have to brighten images and videos to see them correctly. I would like to know how I could increase the brightness of my screen. I tried fiddling with the buttons on my screen, but there's nothing regarding brightness or contrast.I have a Fujitsu Siemens screen purchased more than 4 years ago and an NVIDIA Geforce2 MX graphics card (I looked in there too, but no settings in sight...). I also have DirectX 9.0c installed.Thanks in advance!

You need to perform this manipulation because I had the same problem and it worked:
* Start / Control Panel / Appearance and Themes
* Change the screen resolution (in the "Choose a task..." section)
* Advanced (at the bottom of the dialog box that appears, it's directly in the settings tab if not go there)
* Color (in the new dialog box)
* Move the blue ball in the "Desktop brightness" section to max
There you go, it's done now you can adjust it as you need.

Under seven, Start, Control Panel, Hardware and Sound, Power Options, Change power-saving settings, Change plan settings. There you go ;)

Windows Vista (Laptop):

- Start / Control Panel
- On the left (in small in the blue column) "Classic view"
- Look for the green battery icon with the plug: "Power Options"
- Below "Normal usage" click on "Change plan settings"
- There are 2 small bars with a slider corresponding to "Adjust screen brightness"

Note: The small bar on the left is used to adjust brightness when the laptop is unplugged and the one on the right when it is plugged in.

While searching, I found something else:  Control Panel / Appearance and Personalization / Display / Screen Resolution / and click on the "Detect" tab.   It worked for me on Acer 7741G on Windows 7.

G find: when you go to the battery settings (the time before dimming the display ...) there you modify the advanced power setting, then go into display, enable adaptive brightness and then turn it off.
