Hello, I installed Norton 2006 and a new icon has appeared in the lower right corner of the screen.
It is the Norton Protection Center icon.
So I now have 2 Norton icons next to the clock: the classic Norton Antivirus Auto-protect and the new Norton Protection Center.
The Auto-protect icon is useful, but the Norton Protection Center one is pointless! I would like to delete it, but there is no option to do so.
Does anyone know the trick to remove the Norton Protection Center icon (through regedit or something else)?
Thanks in advance.

Hello
Doesn't the right-click allow it?

Of course, no right-click to delete the Norton icon and no option allows it.
Hello
Right-click on your taskbar -> Properties in the panel that opens at the bottom right click on customize click on the line of your icon choose the option always hide then OK
Have a nice day.
