Ha! Ha! ha!!! Are you kidding or what?
Well, I thought if you are blind, I can understand your question.

If you already know what an operating system is,
start a PC under MS-DOS, look closely at the screen with your eyes.
Then start another one under Windows and compare visually. You will already see a difference.

Don't mock!!! Many people believe that Windows is THE software without which nothing can work. When I suggest installing Ubuntu, I'm asked if it works with Windows.
His question is relevant as it highlights the ignorance (without pejorative connotation) of the general public regarding new technologies.
What bothers me in all of this is that systems are sold hand over fist with no more information than that!!!!
They just say: "buy a computer and it will change your life!!!"
That's why I prefer to share this link to revisit the history of MS-DOS.
