Hello,
Issues with an NTFS external disk that is inaccessible, and with "diskmgmt.msc" it reports: Volume not mounted; what does that mean? Is there a solution...
Thank you
Configuration: Dual-boot Ubuntu, XP / FireFox

Hello.
Is your external hard drive formatted? Have you changed systems or were you using your external hard drive on another computer?
Best regards. -
your DDE on another computer
No, it's a backup disk and I'm trying to read it today.

Hello.
Turn off your PC, connect the disk to a USB port at the back of the machine (and to the power outlet if it comes with a power supply) and restart the PC.
Best regards. -
Hello,
I did as you said, and since the computer restarted everything is working normally. I'm relieved to have found backups. It's a strange phenomenon that I've never encountered before.
Thank you, and I wish you a great New Year's Eve and a wonderful year 2011.
