Hello!
How do I check the version of Samba that I'm using?
I'm in the process of configuring it as a domain controller and I've noticed that when I enter the command PASSDB BACKEND (of course in lowercase), it doesn't highlight it in green like the others I enter.
Do all versions of Samba recognize PASSDB BACKEND?
Thank you.

Hello,
For the version, see also (in root):# smbd -V # smbstatus -V

Hi,
often, it's simply "samba -v" otherwise man samba should tell you more.
see you later
