Hello,
I have just acquired a cash register, the Techfive FK 258, along with its manual, but it is very complex for me and my little creperie.
First of all, I would like to know what a department and an item are? What exactly are they for?
I have read in every way possible, but I don't know how to record my drinks, my galettes, my crepes, my ice creams, my salads, my cocktails!
The previous owner is not more talkative and leaves me with my doubts and questions! I have no one to help me, and I admit that I am lost and worried...
Your help will be very precious to me, even a few tips. I am opening my creperie in 10 days, and nothing is programmed! Help!!!!

I just bought a Tech Five FK858FL cash register with its user manual for my small restaurant. I've managed to enter the PLUs (that is to say the dishes, the drinks...), the prices, the VAT rates...
But when I want to print the ticket (the bill) corresponding to a table, I have to press a payment method (cash, check, credit card) (which I don't know yet), and therefore the ticket and the invoice print simultaneously, and then I can't go back to "the table" to modify the payment method.
Perhaps you can help me since looking at your machine's characteristics, it seems similar to mine? I think I may have activated (or not) an option, but since the manual is really not clear, I don't know which one.

I’ve just acquired the same cash register as you, the fk858fl, but I have absolutely no knowledge about it. Could you please give me a hand so that I can use it? How do you print a customer receipt? Where do you enter the items and drinks? Which mode should I use to charge a customer? Basically, I want to use it as simply as possible. Looking forward to your response.
