An unread message is still displayed

Hello,  My Blackberry always shows an unread message, yet they have all been read... Has anyone encountered this problem and resolved it?  Thank you  Configuration: Windows Vista / Firefox 3.5.13

Have you looked at the MMS, email, etc.? Sometimes the message is just spam.

Hello, try this: open the message in question. Then press the menu key. Then select "mark as covered."

One day I had the same issue on a different phone than the one I currently have (Blackberry Curve 8310). The message was simply an internet link that I was invited to click on. Also check your browser: Vodafone Live ... You never know.

I inform you that it's a software issue. I have the same problem, I have reset the software more than 40 times! After a week, the same scenario. Moreover, the automatic reboot increases the number of phantom messages. I sent the phone back to BB.
