Add a Facebook School

Question

Hello everyone, I would like to add a school on Facebook
so I'm on my profile, my info, then Work and Education
Middle/High School:
so I type in my school but it doesn't appear, so I type in its name: I save it, but when you look at my info on the school's name, an link is created when you click on it and it sends me to a group that has nothing to do with my school. How can I save the school's name so that it is recognized on Facebook? If someone can help me please. Thank you.

Up! I have the same issue, more or less, so if someone has a solution... Moreover, the only schools I find in the "training" section seem to be American, even though Facebook knows I am French; is there a problem?

Hi,
I'm not sure but in my opinion you should create a group specifying the right field (so study or school, I can't remember too well) then redo the search
but I promise nothing, it's rare for a school to be unrecognized by Facebook.

Hi everyone, the questions are old but I encountered the same problem without finding a solution online.
I managed to do it on my own anyway. So here are the steps to follow:
1- access your profile of course (info, job and education)
2- if the name you enter does not refer to your school's page, you need to open the school's page in a new tab,
3- copy the URL of the school's page
4- return to your profile, paste the address in the school search bar
It will then appear directly, and you can select it.
