Problem with GTA IV installation on PS3

Hello,

So, recently I bought GTA IV on PS3.
I noticed there is an installation on the hard drive to do, but it takes a lot of time—1 hour and 30 minutes I haven't even made 2 mm of the progress bar.

Is that normal?

Thanks for your responses, I’m looking forward to it.

Best regards Gameurouf.

Can you help me solve the problem please?
the bar still hasn't increased. But the background images change

Does it come from my console? from my game? from something else?

    but if it’s normal
    it’s the game update

it can take time if your bandwidth is limited

But it's been over 3 hours that it's spinning and the bar still hasn't increased.

your internet speed must be slow

if you are downloading, stop it
if you have multiple PCs connected
stop for the time to perform your update

I have nothing running with it, I even left it overnight, nothing. The bar hasn't moved, when I bought the game (yesterday) the bar jumped up suddenly to the 2nd "n" of "data" but after that it stopped working.

I left it running all night, the bar hasn't gone up :'( I'm starting to despair.
Could it be the game? If I change it, could it work?

Maybe you’re running out of space on your hard drive?

Hi, it’s doing the same thing to me too; I even realized something with my PS3 hard drive but it’s still the same! So how can I fix it?
