TV that won't turn on

Hello,
My Telefunken television won’t turn on even though the indicator light is still on. I have turned it off and unplugged it, but nothing works. What should I do?
Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 3.5.7

    Maybe as soon as you turn it on, it goes into standby and you have to turn it on with the remote, I know it's silly but oh well^^
