RJ45 crimping tool?

Hello,

I want to crimp my network cables for my home installation (cat5 UTP) and I notice that on the description of the crimping tool I want to buy it is specified:

"crimping tool for male RJ connectors on multi-stranded (flexible) cable
To crimp standard RJ 45 connectors
DO NOT use with RJ45 connectors with comb
for RJ45 telephone connector only"

Can I still crimp my network cables or is it dedicated to telephony?

    If these are 8-wire cables and your connectors are 8-wire, then there are no problems.
