I connect automatically with my Freebox, but Windows keeps trying to launch this WAN connection, which I can't find a way to disable. and I come across this issue but despite my research I don't see anywhere that talks about the part of the message underlined (by me). The message "Connection in progress via Wan Miniport" appears frequently, probably every time the connection lags to establish with the messaging (Thunderbird). I have disabled the Wlan (green light off on Speedtouch) but nothing works. This message is driving me crazy. In fact, I only want an internet connection and I have no need for it to switch to Wi-Fi.
