License installation contract issue XP

Hello,
I have a Dell Mini Inspiron 12-inch PC that I bought with a LINUX distribution.
I would like to install WINDOWS XP on it, and since I don't have a CD drive, I made my USB drive bootable and transferred the XP installation CD (with the I386 folder) to the USB drive.

With a few change directory commands, I managed to start the XP installation (by running winnt.exe)

However, just before reaching the screen that allows partition management, the installation stops, telling me that it can't find the End User License Agreement file, so I have to exit the installation by pressing F3.

I read on Microsoft that this error occurs, for example, with a FAT32 hard drive, but by fiddling with a formatting through an FDISK exe, I still can't progress and therefore resolve the issue.

Does anyone have a lead?
Thank you

Thank you for your reply.

The problem is that I can't find the format file in the Windows install folder...

I also tried with a "format.com" file that I got from elsewhere, but I'm still having issues during the installation.

I think I'm going to buy a PATA to SATA adapter to do it from another PC, because at this point...
