Well, I had the same installation problem, but I solved it. To install, just: My Computer > right-click on UMP-102 and Open > right-click on Isetup96.exe > Properties > Compatibility > Run this program ... > Windows 98. Then apply and double-click on isetup98.exe and miracle, it works lol :) Now, I have a big problem. After installation, I insert the USB key into the USB port (I have 4) and I hear a noise (tatatata) and nothing happens, nothing appears. I check in My Computer, NOTHING!!! So please help me.

Hi everyone; I just bought a mp monbeq 512mb, I plugged it into the USB port and it says it's good, but unfortunately the computer doesn't show the new hardware addition. I then went to check for new hardware in the control panel and the computer checked and told me that no new hardware was detected! Can someone help me solve this problem?
Thank you in advance everyone! Have a good day! -

hi leo_chan
don't do "new hardware detected" automatically
manually, choose other hardware, USB, for the drivers go get them from the XP CD in the "I386" directory
see you +

I purchased a 512 MB MONBEQ MP3 player. I am using WINDOWS ME.
It is impossible for me to connect it to my PC. I have tried everything.
On the support, it is mentioned that this player is compatible with WINDOWS 98, 2000, or XP.
Does anyone have a tip?
In the store where I bought it, the seller could not provide me with any explanation.
Thank you

Hi,
my device is giving me a problem
I can put mp3 files on the player, when I leave it connected to the USB port it works perfectly, I unplug it using the "safely remove hardware" option but when I turn it back on it shows "usb rdy" as if it is still connected to the USB port.
Does anyone have any advice
thanks -
Hello,
I have acquired a Monbeq 512 MB player. My Windows XP recognizes it, no problem there, I can transfer mp3 files onto it, but when I disconnect it from my computer, the message "no music" appears.
Has anyone ever encountered this situation and knows what to do? -
Laurent
I am also using Windows XP and I would like to know how you managed to put music on your MP3. My PC does not recognize the USB flash drive, and since you were able to do it, I would like to know how you did it. -
I have a problem, I have a Monbeq 512 MB MP3 player since the day before yesterday, everything was normal until now, except that the manual says we can display the lyrics, so I put in the provided CD and installed the detected software: iPlayer Mass Storage Driver V3.1
whereas the manual mentions a "lyrics power 2.02", when I open the installed software, I have 3 bars with apparently 1 empty box in front (Capacity; Firmware; Language) that I cannot touch, below, there is a checked box (and uncheckable) where it is written next to it: "Verify Flash Memory"
Below there is a loading bar at 0%
And the available buttons are "Format" and "Exit".
"Exit" makes me quit, as for "Format", it gives me the error:
"Could not find device !!
Please check device !!"
I removed the MP3 and put it back, but no change...
So my requests are the following:
How to fix this problem, and if this is not the software that allows displaying the lyrics, where is the correct one, and how can I acquire it?
Thank you! -
Hello!
I have the same Monbecq reader and I'm struggling.
It seems to be installed correctly (I think!) since I can see it in the device manager as a "USB mass storage device," but I can't do anything with it. It's not showing up anywhere in My Computer and is not recognized in Windows Media Player. It says "USB Ready" though... I'm totally lost and I don't have another PC available to see if it would work elsewhere.
Does anyone have any ideas, please? Thank you for your help. -
You plug in your USB drive, open it to see all your files, and transfer them to your desktop. Then you go to My Computer, right-click on your MP3 player, and format it (safely). Now you can drag your files from your desktop to the open window of your player. The message "no music" should have disappeared and you can play them again.

For those who have formatted their MP3 and therefore deleted the BIOS on their MP3, the only thing to do is to search on your MP3 using the buttons for the MP3 menu.
Then in the menu, "settings" will appear. Once inside, the only thing to do is to format it, a percentage will appear and your MP3 will be like new.
I don't know if this answers everyone, but at least it should help a good part, I think. -

A good trick to solve this problem. In fact, I think it's a fault with the reader at the connection level. The connectors do not allow the PC to recognize the MonBeq reader (as far as I'm concerned).
So, take an extension, plug it into the PC and the other end into the drive! Play around with the cable until you get the connection! At my place, it worked when it was at an angle...
Good luck!

Moi aussi, j'ai acheté ce MP3 et il fonctionnait mal, j'ai dû me procurer le driver sur touslesdrivers.com et là, normalement, ça marchait, mais l'oreillette droite ne marchait pas.

I have this mp3 but I've lost the manual and I would like to put the lyrics of the songs on it so I can read them while listening to the music.
