Dell OptiPlex GX280 won't turn on and is blinking.

Hello,
I have a Dell OptiPlex GX280 and when I try to turn it on, it doesn't power up and the power button blinks orange. I've done all possible tests (RAM, power supply, HDD) and still nothing. Does anyone have an idea? Thank you and have a good day.
Configuration: Windows XP Firefox 2.0.0.12

    I don't know what to do.
    But I have read a bit everywhere on forums that Dell had issues with the GX because of weak capacitors.
    Some say it's the power supply, others the capacitors or the graphics card.
    To be honest, I'm lost with all this, so please help me.
    I only know one thing, it doesn't work anymore, it won't turn on, and for the past 2 months, it took longer and longer to turn on. And now I have nothing but a blinking orange light.

    What should I do? Thanks for your help.

    I have exactly the same problem today on mine... and nothing works.

      hello,

      you have a power supply problem, the machine will run at 100% for 10, 20, 30 minutes or even longer depending on the heat of the room, but since the small fan in the unit is not really spinning or is running slowly, as soon as the unit gets too hot, it will go into safety mode.... it’s the power supply unit that needs to be changed, which can be done in 3 minutes, word of an old Dell tech!
