Hello, I want to remove the power-on password in the BIOS knowing that I know the password, but I have tried everything in vain.
My laptop is an HP Pavilion dv5-1235dx.

when you change it, it will ask you to enter your old password, then when it asks for the new one, you just hit enter without typing anything...

In the BIOS, there is the option to set a power-on password, which means that when I start the laptop, I am prompted for the password before Windows starts. I set the password myself, and now I want to remove it, but I've tried everything in vain. When I try, it only allows me to change the password.
