Are DVDs sensitive to cold?

Hello,

I have stored DVDs and DVD-Rs in my garage.
However, the nights can be very cold, especially right now...

Can prolonged and extreme cold eventually damage my DVDs and DVD-Rs?

    In fact, I think you'll have moisture problems with those more quickly, but in my opinion, DVDs don't hold up well to extreme cold either; they remain a "fragile" medium.
