Hello,
Could someone provide me with information?
Here it is: I won a TomTom 910 GPS from Damart, which I have been expecting since August. Every time I call them, I'm told it will be included with my next order.
Since then, I've placed three orders because it was never included.
Today, they sent me a letter saying they will include an electronic route navigator of the NAVIROUTE CNS 101 brand. However, I'm searching online to see if it has the same functions as the TomTom 910, but I can't find anything.
Can someone provide me with information and respond to my personal email address, as I am disabled and don’t often go on forums? A neighbor told me to contact you because her son usually finds everything on this site.
Thank you for your reply
Best wishes to all

This is not the only scam from DAMART; unfortunately, I think they are legally unassailable!!!! Although recently, an elderly person, very determined, managed to obtain a large "promised" check that was never received from a mail-order sales company!!! So, we should not get discouraged. I hope that one day all scammers of this kind will no longer be protected by legal loopholes.

Thank you for the information, I too will get rid of this device, I can't believe they can deceive us to this extent, I still wish good luck to everyone.

Hello, here is the letter I wrote to Damart:
Hello
When it comes to bad faith, it's hard to find better than you. I send you a check, even two, you cash it, and like magic, there's no trace left. This is the third time I'm disappointed by you "DAMART", the same story as for the slippers I returned to you via Colissimo, the Post Office indicates that the package was delivered, but you say you've never received it! So, no refund. I calculate 29 € for the slippers, a check for 40 €, plus another one for 52.80 €, which totals 121.80 € lost! Well, not for everyone, right! I will report your actions to the public prosecutor, that always makes for good publicity for a mail order company scamming an 83-year-old woman!
Best regards

Hello MOUMOUNE
I just received a NAVIROUTE as well from an order at DAMART. I just tried to get it up and running but to no avail, the software won't start on my computer
I have just one question, the proposed GPS devices must not be theirs, and they're giving us "their junk", but I will call them and return their GPS
If you don't mind, I'll keep you updated on the outcome. Best regards, symphonie-
Hello Symphony
I sent two emails to Damart to express my disappointment, and they don't even have the courtesy to reply. So starting Monday, I will write a registered letter to the head office, whose address is as follows:
Damart Serviposte - head office 25 ALLEE DES CHENES
59100 Roubaix
I pointed out that it is shameful to abuse customers' trust, and that this could cost them dearly for false advertising, but I feel like they couldn't care less.
I told them that it is disgraceful to take advantage of disabled people, and that I will contact an association for the defense of the rights of the disabled, but it's complete silence; what politeness!
I think their response will arrive by pigeon, and with this cold, it might take a while.
Many people should do the same as me, write to the head office, so that all these VPC scams can finally come to an end.
Sincerely
Moumoune

I am also outraged by DAMART; it's a disgrace to deceive its customers like that. I too received this navigation device that doesn't even work instead of a TomTom GPS.
I agree with you when you say we should band together to try to make DAMART respond.
What do you propose we do????-
-
I was also scammed by Damart, the disappointment for me was to disappoint my granddaughter to whom I was giving this GPS
why try to contact different organizations, I think we should remove ourselves from their files and especially talk about it word of mouth, from my side there will never be an order again, it's through this means that we can act thank you for reading me -
In response to your message, I partially agree with you regarding the action you intend to take against DAMART, which is to never order from them again. I will refuse to accept the catalogs with the mention "return to sender" as soon as they arrive in the mail. However, we should also come together and try to initiate action with a radio host like Julien COURBET. Indeed, the impact of his show and especially the audience of the RTL radio station could shake DAMART, as their refusal to respond to our request would create serious trust issues with their current and future customers. Those who want to undertake this approach can contact me, knowing that the more numerous we are, the more likely we are to be heard.
-
Hello Xanthippe
I have already done what you said but nothing stops them, they continue to send advertising even this morning.
They even had the audacity to wish me a happy holiday a week in advance, two days after my email request to be removed from their files as well as from all the companies that work with them.
From today on, I will not open their mail, I will mark "return to sender" on the envelope
and I have highlighted in fluorescent yellow "Do not receive any more mail from this company Damart and its associated subsidiaries.
Remove my name from your files
Do like me. -
I am sending a message regarding this browser which is not a browser!!! I think word of mouth is not valid, but since we are on the Internet! Send the name of the site to all your contacts who can pass it on to other friends. I don't believe that Julien Courbet can act, let's leave him the initiative to help those who really need it and are cheated and paying out of their own pockets. For us, it was a gift, let's return all their catalogs and mail, this is a good idea. Additionally, do you know that this company from the North which should make French people work, produces its items in underdeveloped countries, those poor people who work almost for free to avoid starving to death. As a Northerner, I find it absurd to buy clothes made in other countries when originally it was a Northern company. I have known Damart for 40 years. Thank you for reading me and good luck to the disappointed ones.

Thank you for giving me back my energy. I agree with everything you said. I am one of the "scammed."
In fact, I didn’t think I would receive a Tom Tom navigator but I probably didn’t spend enough time analyzing the blah blah from Damart and I was waiting to see.
I had already been 'hit' the previous time; it was a television, and if I remember correctly, I received a clock radio.
For some time, I had really been annoyed with this supplier:
- with every letter from them, I was a winner of thousands of Euros,
- my deliveries were delayed by 2 to 4 weeks, first once and then again (interesting a warm underwear ordered in January expected in March...),
- silk underwear but with all the seams in synthetic... The quality!!!
- Moreover, all this contributes to unemployment here and goes through distant transports (good for kerosene!!!).
I threw away all the ads and catalogs from Damart this morning. Another customer lost; I may be an "idiot" (according to Damart) but I'm no longer a victim.
I will follow your idea and return everything that comes from them (except of course, my delivery expected in March (?)). I am ready to act with all of you.
Kind regards to you all
cedoremi-
Hello,
Welcome to the Damart Scammed Club, it's a good resolution to return their ads to senders. The more people do this, the more impact it will have. Moreover, Damart is not the first to pull this kind of scam; almost all mail order companies do the same. I plan to take the time next Monday to contact the show "That Could Happen to You." -
Hello,
I also received the certificate "the commission has awarded you a superb free gift... it's certain, you will receive an electronic road navigator... the TomTom GO 910 navigator, a free gift" (!!!). The "telephone advisors" confirmed to me twice that I would receive this TomTom in a later shipment. I sent 2 emails to Damart after receiving this piece of junk Naviroute, stating that if the TomTom was not sent to me, Damart would lose my business. I received a standard, polite reply that meant Damart did not care. So, I unsubscribed from their newsletter, will refuse and return their various letters and ads, and am ready to join a collective action. As a consumer, I am fed up with being treated like a fool.
In this matter, they claim to offer us an (appealing) gift that we did not ask for, push us to buy, and buy more to receive it ("we will send it to you with a later order"), and in the end, we receive a gadget good for the trash can.
This TomTom, I had promised to give to my student daughter. She is disappointed. But she understands.
For us, Damart is done. Without regret, because we were overwhelmed by their ads, and because the quality and choice were declining, but not the prices.
Here and elsewhere, we need to shake up a morally bankrupt consumer society. The TomTom episode is a somewhat anecdotal manifestation of this. We must demand from these companies "ethics on the label," not only socially, solidarity-wise, and environmentally, but also towards the customers who enable their existence.
Signed: mesuisfaitavoir- Hello everyone,
I'm glad to know that we are a supportive team...
I also write NPAI on Damart's envelope without opening it... but I've just had an idea; when we send them a dissatisfied email, why not click SEND about ten times, just to fill up their inbox...well, if that's not a good idea, ignore my message (it felt good to talk to you)
Mire - You are right about the subject of sending more emails, but each time they receive the mail with "rejected" on it, many more people will see that. Anyway, we have already done this with the mail where we marked "rejected" and placed it in the mailbox.
In any case, I think everyone should do this; it's simple and the perspective of other buyers could change?
Keep writing, there are eyes reading our mail.

You are absolutely right to say that this article is not valid and moreover dangerous since it is written not to be looked at while driving. So what is the use of this so-called navigation device? Well, it serves idiots like us to buy articles to get a useless gift. After that, do like us, wipe this store from your computer and let others know about it.
If this device could at least be used to play, little children could benefit from it, but in reality, it is a battery eater that is of no use. If you want to hit the road, Mappy is much clearer than their gadget.-
Hello again,
this morning in the mail, it's not Damart writing to me to give me a gift... it's: Afibel, but it doesn't matter, it's the same thing...
a big cardboard card:
"we are looking for the winner of a house on the Côte d'Azur worth €300,000.00 before March 2nd at midnight"
and that I will receive at my home a large envelope containing all the details of this operation...
from now on, if I win, you are all invited to the Côte d'Azur!
well, I’ll take my leave, I'm going to send them an email saying:
"it seems you are looking for me, so hire a detective.... it will cost you less than all your advertising... especially since you managed to find me, to take me for a fool! and blah blah blah..."
I’ll send them this email about 10 times!
mire -
yes, menus84... I understood well what this volatile was for...
it's not a big deal...
besides that, where do we stand with the junk mail, with promises of gifts of course?
does no one receive them anymore? or send them?
best regards,
mire- And yes Mire, the war is over due to a lack of ammunition (the complainants), but if we got fooled, we had the pleasure of having a dialogue, and as another person seems to say, it's not the end of the world, and let's wait for the next scam to have another good time of venting.
However, I tried their super browser, and I conclude that it's a gift to give to undesirable people because with this device, I am now certain they won't find me!
It's very complex to implement (impossible to find my housing estate which dates back to 1970?)
And as for the reading on the screen, hello to my eyes.
Well, we still have the suction cup to stick to the windshield to show off, making everyone believe that we have a REAL GPS on board the vehicle; it's classy right now.
There you go, Mire, as I found some tears on the net, this will stop the crying and have provided a moment of laughter.
Looking forward to it.

Hello, I also got this great naviroute but what worries me is the mention "the device should not be used by the driver of a moving vehicle. Use the device only when the vehicle is stopped or by the passenger." I haven't tried it yet, but this means that unlike a TomTom GPS, the navigator doesn't seem to speak, and of course, it is clearly stated on the box that reading while driving is not allowed. Additionally, it runs on batteries, and if I understood correctly, it doesn't immediately recalculate the route in case of a wrong turn.
-
Hello Taumata,
Just for your information, it is not stated not to read the route navigation while driving a vehicle, but the exact phrase is:
"The device must not be used by the driver of a moving vehicle. Use the device only when the vehicle is stopped or by the passenger."
Which means that it should not be handled while driving, and it turns out that these are the same safety instructions for GPS devices!!!
So before wanting to criticize a safety rule, a product, or anything else, make sure to read carefully, get informed well, and especially ensure that you have understood before giving your advice, which in my opinion is complete nonsense!!!- Hello Fullcore, it seems that you are a fervent admirer of this famous Naviroute. My request is very simple: I am looking for the CD or a copy of the installation CD because I have a Naviroute but no CD. So if you still have it and would be willing to give me a copy, that would be nice, as I've already made a request on this post and have never received a coherent response to my request. Best regards.

Hello, I also received this "navigator," CS101, but it's not a GPS.
You need to install the provided software, which allows you to calculate your routes, only on your computer.
Then you transfer the route to the CS101, which indicates step by step the directions to take!
That's it. Maybe it takes into account the elapsed time to change the route line, but I'm not
sure because I haven't tried.
I don't find this very practical; I already have a "GARMIN" GPS that guides me vocally and not in "3D" display.
I hope I have answered your questions; see you soon, good luck. -
For my part, I just contacted the headquarters of Damart, which is supposed to call me back, although I don't expect much. As a customer and a member of "Que Choisir," I asked them to put me in touch with management, which is probably too diversified. The secretary wasn’t able to reach them and took my phone number. If nothing materializes, it would be wise to come together and take a joint approach in order to obtain a plausible response and compensation for abuse and false advertising.

Thank you D A M A R T ....!!!! Indeed, it's a SCANDAL to make dozens of customers believe that they will
be able to get a TOMTOM GPS ... when it is just a first-rate '' CRAP !!!
... THAT doesn't even deserve to be returned to the sender, however Damart has lost another (Good) Customer ...
Best regards -
Hello,
I also received the beautiful object... I was hesitating to give it to my 18-year-old nephew or my 3-year-old grandson... how shameful! The more I read the manual, the more I realize the stupidity of this GPS! I thought about reselling it to Easy Cash; but I'm not even sure they will take it... should I call them? To pay for the call? No, because I have unlimited on landlines, but they have a premium number; well, it's true that I didn't order it as a gift... but sending back this junk! Really! Returning it? But I don't want to pay.... right now, all mail-order sales are offering gifts... that's all you see... scams and companies... speaking of scams: we should talk to Julien Courbet about this!

Hello,
I just received my browser today, the same journey as yours, the same responses from Damart, every time I contacted them, assurance of receiving my TomTom GO 910 immediately if I placed an order, which I did. Upon arrival, huge disappointment, I just sent them a complaint email and a threat, expressing my anger, and warned them of my intention to team up with other dissatisfied customers (without specifying which site I am contacting them through) and also to give them publicity like they've never seen before. Other than throwing the navigation device in the trash (which may not be the best solution initially), what do you think I should do next? I have kept the attribution sheet that Damart sent me back then, with this evidence I plan to contact a consumer protection association and see with them what steps to take to prevent this type of practice and achieve a favorable outcome.

I am not sure that I am in the same situation as you since I responded to an ad regarding the Naviroute CN-101, but there is still deception regarding the equipment, which is not electronic at all; it's just a small card reader like a riddle. Moreover, since I drive alone and I shouldn't be looking at it, what is the point of this article that needs to be stopped when placed on the road and restarted at the next departure?
I plan to write a complaint letter, and if it doesn’t bother you, please give me the address where it is best to send this letter.
Additionally, to provide a route, one must go through a computer, and how do you handle a change in direction if you're at a rest area on the highway? This is where there is deception compared to their advertising.
I hope we all manage to get the item from their offer.
Thank you for your response and have a nice day.
Menus84.-
If it is a device sent as a gift by DAMART under the name: Electronic GPS Navigator, you can submit your complaint by going to the website www.damart.fr and clicking on contact damart. I don't remember this Damart offer, when did you receive your gift? I sent them with my email on 3/2 attached the documents they sent to clients stating that the commission had awarded a superb free gift with the representation and the name: the Tomtom go 910 road navigator, a free gift worth €439.90, while the naviroute is hardly worth more than €10, and even if we manage to sell it, which is not at all certain.
- Hello, I affirm that I received a letter in August saying "Congratulations, you are the only winner of the Tom Tom navigator." Not seeing it arrive, I sent several letters. At the end of December, I received a letter asking me to be patient as my navigator was on its way, but it was accompanied by a voucher of course, and like you, I received this ridiculous device.
I'm giving up and will do what I said: never let myself be fooled by them again and return their letter. When they have to pay for the returns, they might understand their commercial policy mistake. I'm going to try to go to their website as you suggested. Looking forward to it. - Hello,
indeed, we all have the same mishap, the delivered device does not match the promised device at all. You are right about one point: returning the brochures and catalogs to them is what I started doing today by annotating on the package: REFUSED return to sender; that’s already a first step and I am waiting to receive the gift that they supposedly sent me on February 3 to continue my action, because if we do nothing they don't care since their advertising mailing system still brings them a certain number of responses that become a certain number of potential pigeons. In any case, I will keep you all updated on the next episode.

Hi everyone,
my parents just passed this thing on to me, honestly, I had a good laugh when I understood! Now, the question is whether they have mentioned at some point or another, at least written GPS. If that’s the case, we deserve to have it. Otherwise, everyone has extrapolated thinking navigator = GPS.
to be continued...
PS: sorry for the apostrophes, accents, and others, my keyboard is dying, one key at a time!-
You are right to say that it is just a browser, but the problem is that when you want to enter a route, you need a computer, and that does not exist at a motorway rest area where only the restrooms are present.
Normally, a so-called electronic device should be able to be programmed without the help of another system, and that is not the case with their toy, which is just meant to distract the kids in the back of the car and nothing more.
As for me, I am leaving this merchant site due to their lack of seriousness, and I don’t think I am the only one in this situation.
A+++++++- In response to your message, I would like to point out that if only the restrooms are present at a highway rest area, that’s just as well because since their gift is crap, combining the two will be very easy. Despite my complaints, Damart insists and confirms, as you will see from the copy of their last email. While family issues have temporarily prevented me from pursuing my action, I have not abandoned the idea of contacting Julien COURBET on his show "Ça peut vous arriver" on RTL. I will keep you informed of any developments in this matter.
You will see that their response remains completely vague.
Copy of Damart's email dated 10/2/2009:
From: Damart Customer Service
Date: 10/02/2009 10:30:09
To: butind@free.fr
Subject: Various complaints
Hello Mr. BUTIN,
Your remarks have caught my full attention.
That’s why I want to remind you of the terms of this “Gift Operation.”
Damart wants to reward its three best customers (determined based on the recency of orders and the value of purchases made from 15/03/2008 to 15/07/2008) by: for the first, a TomTom GO 910 GPS navigator, for the second, a Mio C230T Europe GPS navigator, and for the third, an LG N10T Europe GPS navigator. Other recipients who send back their reservation request will each receive a GPS navigator and its route CD.
To obtain all the details of this operation, I invite you to refer to the presentation document of the TomTom GO910 navigator, attached to your order form.
Thank you for your understanding.
Sincerely,
Your advisor Cécile Roger

Hello,
I am responding to your message regarding the trinket sent by Damart. If they do not specify GPS explicitly, they are announcing a great free gift, and under the mention:
"It's for sure, you will receive A ELECTRONIC ROAD NAVIGATOR!
There is a photo and the mention: The TomTom GO 910 Road Navigator free gift, commercial value €439.90. -

On 11.02.09.
Thank you for taking the time to share your insightful comments with us. I have immediately forwarded your email to the Marketing department and our Management. It is thanks to your remarks that we can evolve and progress in our desire to satisfy you.
I hope you will reconsider your decision to no longer be part of our clientele.
Thank you for your understanding.
Kind regards,
Above is the response to my email regarding the highway restrooms, but unfortunately, following this, I believe that some of us will leave such dream merchants.
Your advisor Thérèse Vandenabeele-
I have just received your email, and I would like to know which company's adviser you are replying to me as? If you are from Damart, you cannot ignore that some of your clients are furious; this is probably only a small portion of the dissatisfied who are expressing their anger on online forums. Of course, Damart thinks that there will always be customers and that new ones can be found, but beware, there was recently a precedent of a mail-order company that had to file for bankruptcy. As for my decision to leave your clientele, I will not change my mind until I have received satisfaction, and know that I was born in the north, and you know how stubborn people from that region can be.
In case Damart wants to satisfy me, I am willing to exchange the 2 trinkets that were sent to me for the superb free gift that was promised on the allocation bulletin.
Best regards
D. BUTIN

Sir.
My email conveyed the message sent to me by the Damart advisor, which is what I have written below, stating that it is the response to my email regarding the highway toilets. I am also awaiting their response on this matter.
Below, I provide the message I sent to this advisor, and you have read her response in my previous message.
Madam, yesterday I already replied to your nonsensical message, and I will show you the lack of objectivity in your remarks.
Please explain how I am supposed to program your so-called navigator when I change routes at a highway rest area where there are toilets but unfortunately no computer for programming, as you so clearly state in your message.
I note, Madam, that for an advisor, you should certainly be more competent in lingerie than in electronic equipment, and I advise you to speak with your superiors to obtain an internship that I believe will open your eyes to the unusable equipment your company gives away, which I am leaving with great pleasure and I will not be the only one upset at having been taken for a fool.
I am pleased to say goodbye to you.-
Hello,
I apologize for the confusion; by reading your email too quickly, I mistook you for the advisor from Damart.
Of course, the answer she gives you is a very vague one; she just relays it to her superiors and that's it.
In any case, there’s no need to program the naviroute for your travel, if you don’t have a real GPS, you might as well go online and create several routes using Mapy; it will be just as effective, and you’ll save on batteries since the naviroute consumes a set of 3 batteries per day of use, which can get quite expensive. However, this gift shouldn’t cost Damart much since they even sent me two in a short time.
Once again, I apologize for my confusion.
D. BUTIN

After numerous phone calls and several letters in which I requested my Tomtom GPS, I finally received not a GPS but a road navigator; this is outright theft. The navigator in question consists of a CD that you must insert into your computer, asking it to establish the route you desire with the stops and the return route. Once determined, you connect the navigator, and the route displays very succinctly, or you print it out on paper. There is nothing better than the Mappy or Michelin website; the navigator has no autonomy and only repeats what you have previously recorded. In a word, it is not a GPS at all and is absolutely not comparable to Tomtom.
-
Hello,
I completely agree with you on the description of this device for planning a route, and that's it; there's no point in trying to make it change route during the journey, even if we encounter traffic jams or if there are roadworks and a diversion. It's a scam, and I even sent a message this afternoon on the website of Julien Courbet's show: "It could happen to you," I'm waiting for their response, and I will make sure to keep you informed as I proceed with my steps. -
Good evening,
it's true that we are all disappointed because we believed in it: a GPS with photos of it and the corresponding text... everything was designed to make us dream... unconsciously, we were going to have that GPS! This is what we call self-suggestion, I believe... and it's true that the deception method is good... we can't blame them; everything is written in the letter; generally, in very small print... Damart must protect itself in case of complaints. Our ego took a hit (we fell for it) and that's hard to bear; they took us for fools! But nobody forced us to place an order; nevertheless, we resent them!, especially at a time when we so much need to hope! We had even made plans for the beautiful object; "I would give it to my daughter..." "my son could use it for his work" etc, etc... being deceived like this hurts (would we have ordered if there hadn't been the tempting gift proposal)? The answer lies within you...
today, I received this type of letter again; everything went back... to the post!
have a good evening,
Mire -
Good evening,
Congratulations! I encourage all those who visit this forum and who have had the same problems as us with Damart or other mail-order companies to do as you and I have: return the ads and catalogs without even opening them by writing on the packaging: REFUSED - RETURN TO SENDER. This action will certainly make these companies think. -
mire understood everything:
"We can't blame them; everything is written in the letter; generally, in very small print... Damart has to protect itself in case of complaints. Our ego took a hit (we were taken for fools) and that's hard to bear; they took us for idiots!"
Absolutely, but for them (and for many others), they call that customers.
"But no one forced us to place an order; that said, we still hold a grudge against them."
You should rather blame yourselves. It's the lure of the gift that made you order, that's where greed leads.
"Being duped like that hurts (would we have ordered if there hadn't been the tempting gift offer)? The answer lies within you... "
And in the fool that sleeps within you! -
Hello,
I am responding to the fool who apparently never sleeps in you, have you ever been tempted by an enticing advertisement and have you ever been fooled by unkept promises? Don’t tell me "never" or else I will believe that you have never cast a ballot into a ballot box. Yes, we get fooled every day, and first and foremost by those we elect to represent us. That’s why forums like this one are necessary so that people can confront their perspectives on social phenomena and unite to react against the actions of the companies that exploit us.

Good evening everyone,
yesterday, I received a letter from Afibel requesting 5€50, it's very possible that I made a mistake during an order (I think I must have forgotten about shipping costs)... anyway, I then ordered an item to clear my debt... but, after throwing away all their brochures, I had none left! So, I chose an item online....
but, today, I returned it to the sender, Damart and Blanche Porte...
I went to see the turtles, and I really liked the site...
looking forward to hearing from you,
mire -

Hello Mire,
To get back to Damart's TomTom...
The illusion was perfect in the attribution document we received, and the scam was reinforced by the assurance of Damart's advisors on the phone: "Yes, the TomTom is indeed yours, you will receive a letter with your next order indicating how to receive it."
I wrote to Damart to tell them they had just lost a customer. Since then, I have received several catalogs that I returned with the note "REFUSED". While sorting, I found other catalogs each containing an order sending envelope. I stuffed all these envelopes with their advertisements and sent them back, of course without affixing postage. This action can indeed help our taxes, as we all pay for paper and household waste collection.
I would also like to point out, and this is for those who called us idiots (and other niceties), that it is still the customers of Damart who pay for those famous gifts when they pay for their items.
See you soon,
Mesuisfaitavoir

I requested Damart to permanently remove me from their files and here is what she replied:
According to your request, I have taken the necessary steps to ensure that you are no longer on our "Clients" lists.
However, you may still receive some catalogs and promotional documents. Indeed, the address selection is carried out a month and a half before the shipment of the documents.
Furthermore, as part of its search for new clients, Damart targets address lists.
That is why, for a permanent removal, I invite you to personally contact one of the following organizations:
- any organization you are a customer and/or member and/or subscriber of.
- STOP PUBLICITE 60 rue de la Boétie PARIS 8th
- your telecommunications commercial agency if you are not already subscribed to the red or orange list.
Best regards.
Your advisor Annie Spriet-
In other words, darling, it's hard not to participate in this massive slaughter of our woods by Damart... and the others.
Today, we only talk about reducing waste, less pollution, less waste, etc., etc...
I'm really tempted to send Damart a message like:
"It will be useless to cut down a tree for me, to promote your products, and especially your gifts, which increase the volume of my waste; I am concerned about preserving my planet... and so on..."
I can just imagine them responding:
"We contribute to providing jobs; for logging, for printing, for handling your letters, for processing your complaints..." anyway, ... I'm delusional!
As for me, I keep returning to them, as well as to others, their big envelopes...
It's true that today, everything is done with gifts (often ridiculous), scratch cards, etc... as if the order placed wasn't attractive enough; the desire to win, the need to play?
Well, today is Sunday; no mail!

Hello everyone,
today I received a letter from Afibel,
so if I understood correctly... I need to respond before someone else, because we both have the same number, and the first of the two will pocket €15,300.00... but even if I don't respond in time, I will win a consolation prize of €5,000...
and then, if we look carefully in the text, there are plenty of people who form a pair with the same number... anyway!
They are asking me if I want the money to be transferred to a savings account or as a bank cheque?
They also included a stamped envelope to send my registration form...
Yes, yes, I will reply to them, I am definitely fired up against them!!!
And you, have you received the same thing as me?
See you soon,
Mire-
You must keep the documents and go file a complaint at the gendarmerie or police for FRAUD. If the gendarmes or police refuse to take the complaint, remind them of the charter that obliges them to do so (articles 5 or 6). This charter is displayed at the reception.
THEY ARE OBLIGED TO TAKE THE COMPLAINT, so do not let yourself be misled, insist even to the point of refusing to leave the gendarmerie or police station.
If everyone does this, DAMART will find themselves in the CRIMINAL court and it will be quite a shock for them, believe me, the magistrates will be more than happy to go after them, given the number of misleading letters they send.
Furthermore, they mostly have an elderly clientele, which is borderline EXPLOITATION OF WEAKNESS.
Go file complaints, it will take you an hour of your time but it's for the good of everyone.- Thank you! You are absolutely right, it’s a scam! In fact, I’m looking for information about Damart because my grandmother (and surely many others) has been receiving letters for years telling her that she has won money; all she has to do is buy a certain blouse, pants, coat, etc.
At first, she didn’t believe it, but now she is starting to lose her mind and she won’t stop buying from Damart. Afterwards, she complains that she hasn’t received her gift! I even saw her call Damart to yell at them... The woman’s response was to try to sell her another coat. How shameful!!
I am studying advertising, and this kind of trick goes against all the principles of advertising. How can we trust advertising if there are cases like Damart? What can we do?

I also won a TomTom 910 that I never received. Damart completely ignores its customers by sending us a cheap 3-francs-nickel navigator as a replacement. In any case, this is false advertising and an incitement to sell. If we all come together to sue them, they will lose. See with "Que Choisir".
Have a good day everyone.-

Hello Nikko,
what's your problem?
You just need to read the comments that are right before yours...
Of course, you just got a "damart" naviroute! It would be a shame to have to pay for it!
If you make a request for this GPS online, everyone will send you one!
Unless it's already gone to the trash...
Do like us, pass it on to someone, casually, as if you were giving them a nice gift...
Welcome to the club, Nikko!
If you still don't understand, ask someone else to explain it to you!
No hard feelings,
with all my sympathy,
Mire -

Cordialement, Nikko.
