Excel: Unable to move objects

Hello,

I receive an error message when I insert a column in an Excel file.

I have a matrix of 250 rows x 50 columns and I can't add more columns because an error message appears: "unable to move objects outside the sheet". In some cells I have comments and some cells are merged, but I don't know if that causes a problem?

If anyone can provide me with information.

    Hello,

    In Excel 2003, you have 256 columns, and adding another will push a non-empty column beyond 256.
    If you're really sure you can insert a few more, select your last columns that are supposed to be empty and delete them; it will clean things up.
