SMS starting with 447
Hello, on my phone bill there is a number that appears and I don't recognize it: it says I have sent and received SMS/MMS abroad. The number is 44 78 62 72 ** ** (I prefer to hide the last digits).
Do you have any idea what this could be? How can I find out who owns this number?

This is a classic scam designed to make it seem like the caller is in the UK:

As far as I know, the received texts are not charged; calls are another matter unless, of course, one can't resist calling back the "unknown" person who supposedly called you and whom you should have ignored.
