Hi! I type about 60 words/min. Like everyone else, I tried the typing program, it works but you can’t go above 25 words/min. So I recommend my method that I learned in my secretarial course. You place your index fingers on the F and the G and your other fingers will align themselves on the other keys. After that, it’s just a matter of practice, but here’s a tip. Take a page from a book and close your screen to type from it so you can see where the keys you have more difficulty with are. Don’t get discouraged and, above all, practice often. Just know that I went from 19 words/min to 30 in 35 hours of practice, so don’t worry and take it easy.

Method to calculate your net words per minute.

Number of words - 10 per mistake / 5 (it is said that a word has mostly five letters) / by the number of minutes typed.

Ex: 60 - 10 / 5 / 2 = 59 net words/minutes.

Can you help me type faster, please? What finger placement can I use? Does each finger need to have its own letters to type, or how does it work? Can you help me memorize the keyboard so that I can write without looking at the letters on the keyboard? Thank you in advance, see you next time.

I'm 12 years old and I write really fast, and my secret is that I connect too much and I do too much research on the internet, and when I'm chatting on MSN, I talk about all sorts of nonsense. So, with practice, I write too fast, and it takes you 5 or 6 months if you do that. Thank you.

Hello, To help you practice typing faster on an 'AZERTY' keyboard, I recommend the software "Dactylo," which has a free license : ) The software will give you sentences to write as quickly and accurately as possible! It should take about 1 to 2 months at most to type like me (Average of 1 word per second, e.g., "explain") By helping you type quickly, it also teaches you to write in French! This can be useful! This software is only compatible with an 'AZERTY' keyboard I took a month and a half to start typing very fast! Well, obviously, there are people who type faster than me, but once you can already type as fast as I do, it helps a lot! By consistently practicing with the software Dactylo, you'll also succeed in typing without looking at the keyboard! For more information or advice, contact me!

After a while, playing games like World of Warcraft and others, it comes naturally. I can now type with my eyes closed (it's easier when they're open ^^ but anyway), to be honest, I've been playing for a long time too, but if you type regularly on the keyboard, it will come to you naturally :) ^^

KriskaN · Answer

Good evening, If you want, you can use Tapetouche, which is a very good and varied software to learn how to type quickly, but I believe it is paid. It depends on your needs.

martin gagnon · Answer

Hey, I recommend Typing Master; this software is really effective. The interface is user-friendly, the tips are extremely practical, and in just a few hours, you acquire the basics of typing, and within a few days, you can type with both fingers with ease. I've been using it for 4 months now, and I've gone from 12 words/min to 50 words/min. But let me warn you right away, you won't be able to reach that speed just by using the software. I have developed a training routine after learning the basics on the software, and it has proven to be effective. I do about 15 to 30 minutes of instant typing, meaning that while watching TV or listening to the radio, I try to type everything I hear as quickly as possible (of course, I can't type everything), in Word or Notepad, etc. Then, I do sets of 3 to 6 text exercises that are in the software (lasting between 15 and 30 minutes). Believe me, I've progressed very quickly with this training. Try it for just a week, and you'll let me know how it goes.

Tap'Touche is awesome! It is playful, allows for a gradual learning of the different keys for beginners, offers games and even texts to type and dictations for the more experienced! At first, I was looking for a quarter of an hour for each key on the keyboard, whereas now I type at over 30 words/min without looking at the keys! A great software to recommend for those who want to make huge progress!!!

Gryfo · Answer

Well, you have Dactylo, which is a software designed to help you practice typing faster. But the most effective technique is time: the more you write, the faster you'll write. Personally, that's what I did, and the result is that I write quite fast now.

N'importe qui · Answer

To learn to type quickly? Nothing could be simpler, follow the procedure, 1st Method: You have to play World of Warcraft, go into a dungeon and loot all the items. Then you must find an excuse and type it as quickly as possible if you don’t want to get wrecked and insulted by others^^:p 2nd Method: You intentionally insult your girlfriend on MSN and you have to quickly explain that it was a mistake before she blocks you. Tip: Don’t do it often or she will block you forever^^ do it once a month lol) Here are 2 very risky but extremely effective solutions in the world! Good luck on your quest for divine speed at the keyboard^^

Hello,
Take the first software you find... or ask the sales representative of your product for advice... I asked for advice and was told that it was better not to have any as it could crash or bring viruses... In short, I neither bought nor downloaded anything to get software. Now you can do as you wish and however you like...
Have a nice day and all the best.

Valentin:) · Answer

Personally, I recommend keyboard + ;)

So you see, as soon as you're on the software, you type a sentence, then you press a key that can enter the sentence, for example:

"I'm very handsome, who wants to go out with me", you click for example on F1, you click OK
then when you press the F1 key, the sentence will be written out directly.
PS: don't worry, we can remove the sentence or replace it with another one ;)
