What does "patte" mean in the field of networking, and what do you recommend I check out to improve my knowledge without going into detail about LAN, WAN, and internet security?

    Sometimes we talk about "legs" when discussing routers...
    A router with three legs is a router connected to three different networks... three wires come out of the router, so it's a metaphor! :)
